Why the name "Frio's Dry Fifty?"

​Ever heard of the "Back Forty?" Tom Neal, ranched this land. As was the custom of ranchers, he named each location where he pastured his cattle. This pasture was called the "Dry Fifty" because it was fifty acres on which there was no water. Thus__________ the "Dry Fifty." When we named the store it seemed only natural to add "Frio's" so that folks would know where in Texas to find us. We're glad you did!
